NADY U-81 UHF WIRELESS 8 x LAPEL MICROPHONE SYSTEM

The NADY U-81 OCTAVO wireless system comes with 8 wireless handheld microphones / transmitters, and a deluxe 8 channel UHF receiver with an external AC power supply. This is an excellent quality system that operates in the high UHF frequency spectrum away from the typical FM and VHF frequency area that lesser units use and without interference from radio and TV stations.

This system is designed to allow from one to eight persons to simultaneously use the microphones and the 8 channel receiver as the receiver has individual volume controls for each channel on the front panel. Built in LEDs identify the signal present and power on conditions.

The handheld microphones are each powered by a 2 AA batteries. There is OFF/STANDBY/ON switch on the microphones. The 8 channel receiver plugs into PA system or other MIC 1/4" input jack with the included cable. The potential distance of the transmission from the wireless microphones to the wireless receiver is between 50 to 100 feet based on line of sight, obstructions and other factors.

This system is designed to allow from one to eight persons to sing or speak to the audience.

The receiver has eight independent UHF receivers in one convenient, rugged, all-metal single rack mountable case .There is one COMBINED output jack that feeds the output of the eight microphones to your MIXER, Karaoke machine or PA system with the included 1/4" to 1/4" cable. There is also 8 BALANCED XLR jacks that can be used to send the individual microphone outputs to your mixer for independent control.
