The KAITO KA1107 high quality world receiver is the newest model made by the DEGEN
electronics company which is one of the top manufacturing companies in China and
it is similar in size to KA1103.
The USA authorized KAITO KA1107 tunes the AM / MW,
FM and SHORTWAVE broadcasts through an analog tuning circuitry without chuffing or
muting between stations.

COMPACT SW REEL ANTENNA
This reel antenna will improve the reception on the shortwave bands for any portable
shortwave radio. The reel antenna works with radios that have an external mini jack
or not. For those shortwave portable radios that do not have a mini plug external
antenna input jack a whip antenna adapter is included which clips to the lowered
telescopic antenna of the radio.
It’s compact and weighs very little so it’s great
for travel especially in a hotel room. Just plug it into the radio, extend the 16
foot wire from the reel and clip it to a high curtain or similar near a window for
much better reception that than the standard telescopic whip antenna.
KAITO KA33 SHORTWAVE LOOP ANTENNA
The KA33 antenna will dramatically improve the reception on the shortwave bands between
3.9 and 22 mHz for any shortwave radio when compared to it's internal whip antenna.
It will work with radios that have a 1/8" ANT jack by plugging in the 15 foot antenna
cable directly. For portables shortwave radios that do not have a 1/8" ANT jack an
included adapter is used to clip to it's lowered telescopic whip antenna. For desktop
radios the adapter is used to clip the leads to the radio's antenna and ground connectors.
Most veteran shortwave listeners know that the antenna for shortwave listening is
much more important than the radio. For desktop radios an outside long wire or dipole
is always best but even if the space was available, the antenna would overload almost
all portable radios causing imaging of unwanted stations all over the dial. This
indoor amplified shortwave loop antenna is the best for portable shortwave radios
where there cost is a consideration. We have tested this KAITO KA33 side by the side
with the Sony ANLP1 (almost twice the price) and the performance was similar. The
Sony was slightly better on some frequency bands but it's controller box only allows
the selection of band segments with the KAITO has a tuning control that allows the
exact frequency to be fine tuned for peak signal reception.
The amplified loop antenna system comes with a soft loop antenna with a center telescopic
rod that is used to keep the antennas shape intact. This loop antenna is fastened
to a window for best performance with the included suction cup hook. A clip with
a hook for the antenna is also supplied if the suction cup is not convenient for
a given location. This clip is clipped near the window to a curtain or between a
blind and the window.
The loop antenna is connected to the amplified tuning RF control box powered by 2
AAA alkaline batteries (not included) via the 15 foot cable. An 18" cable comes out
of the control box and this is either plugged into the radio's 1/8" antenna jack
where possible or into the included adapter.
