IC-10 COMPUTER CHIPSET

for the

KENWOOD R-5000 SHORTWAVE RECEIVER
or the
KENWOOD TS-440S AMATEUR HF TRANSCEIVER
 

This is the two computer chips that Kenwood called the IC-10 chipset. These are delivered in an anti static plastic box.

When installed inside the rig they activate the radio's rear mounted communications port, typically called the "ACC" port.

To conneect the radio to a computer you would need a level converter such as the Kenwood FIF-232 and RS-232 cables.
