The Sangean ATS-818ACS is a digital world band radio with built-in cassette recorder in silver-titanium colored plastic case.

This dual-conversion receivers covers all shortwave frequencies (1.6 - 30 MHz) plus long wave (150-519 kHz), AM (520-1710 kHz) and FM (87.5-108 MHz) (stereo to headphone jack).   BFO clarifier control is included for smooth SSB (single sideband) and CW (Morse code) reception which will allow you to listen to ham radio operators, plus some regular shortwave broadcast stations that are now also transmitting in SSB.

Scanning Circuit permits you to check various frequencies on a certain band width and lock on to it at random.

Tuning Speed Select Switch

permits you to tune stations at either a fast or slow speed.

Adjustable Sleep Timer

allows you to fall asleep to music or other programming

Standby Mode

turns on the radio automatically at a pre-set time either by buzzer or radio program.
